Brunch at French Affaire, Stony Stratford
Is French Affaire the prettiest eatery in Stony Stratford? Quite possibly. Adorned with plants, pink velvet and even a chandelier, diners flock to this hidden gem for a taste of French cuisine. Or, like us, a cheeky spot of brunch!
It’s a lovely little creperie, which you’ll find tucked down an alleyway opposite its sister venue, Greek Affaire.
Offering a variety of sweet and savoury crepes, croissants, baguettes and other delicious brunch items, it’s the perfect spot for a weekend catch up with friends or family.
Food is beautifully presented. We tried the Eggs Benedict, along with its vegetarian version, Eggs Florentine. We also ordered Le Vegan, filled with falafel, houmous and pesto. Guess who that’s best suited for?
It’s amazing to see these popular dishes served up inside a classic French crepe – a great twist on our breakfast favourites. All crepes can be made with gluten free batter, specially for our coeliac friends.
We washed down our meals with a selection of refreshing health smoothies, from the brilliantly named Banana Armour to The Green Defender. Fruity and delicious.
If you’re looking for a budget brunch with lashings of prosecco, you won’t find it here. In true French style, they only serve proper champagne for an authentic experience.
Frankly, we love it. French Affaire has all the charm of a Parisian café, with colourful surroundings and classy dishes. Don’t forget to book a table, as it’s especially popular on the weekends.
